View AnswerQ: I recently went wireless in my home. I only have two computers, one for my wife and me, and one for my kids. Both computers run Windows XP. I must admit that I am not much of a computer guy, but I set up the wireless router by myself, just following the quick setup instructions provided and everything works well. I've been reading in magazines about how vulnerable your computer is when you're wireless and connected to the internet, and a friend of mine said that because I just used the default setup for the router, that my computers are at risk. Is that true and if so, what should I do about it?
View AnswerQ: While Windows ME was still popular, I purchased my home computer and still use it. I've kept up with general patches and system maintenance and it unit still work as well as it did when I bought it. A few years ago my brother was visiting me and got me into MP3s. My computer didn't really have the storage space to hold much, so my brother went out and got me a really large hard drive (80GB) and installed it for me, so now my unit has two hard drives. I travel a lot for work and they provided me with a wireless laptop with Windows XP that I just love and I find that I use it not only for work, but as my personal computer as well. I do not, however, have room on it for my large MP3 collection so I find myself with two computers, one of which I don't use much except for storing files. It isn't good enough to upgrade to XP, but I don't want to get rid of it either - I'm just tired of having to go from one computer to the other for files.
View AnswerQ: I now see entry level computers equipped with Linux.  Is there any reason a relatively non-sophisticated computer user should even consider buying a computer with a Linux operating system?
View AnswerQ: I've run a small neighborhood cafe for the last couple of years.  In that time business has  been good and with flyers and word or mouth, my customer base has increased.  I'm thinking that creating a web presence might prove beneficial, but I'm not sure how to go about it, or if the cost of have a site created and hosted is worth the potential revenue.  What is involved in getting a web site up and running and what can I expect costs to be?
View AnswerQ: I recently purchased a brand new home computer from Dell, and it arrived without a floppy disk drive.  I hadn't really thought to look to make sure the computer had one when I ordered it, as every computer I've ever used before came with one standard.  Should I be concerned that my computer doesn't have one?
